This accreditation was made upon the recommendation of the Subcommittee on Accreditation for Surgical Assistants (SASA).

CAAHEP accreditation of Meridian Institute's SFA Online Program allows our graduates to sit for the CFA exam offered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting  (NBSTSA, formerly the LCC-ST).  The CSA credential offered by the National Surgical Assistant Association (NSAA).
